Photos from todays 8hr and 3hr trip
Fishing started off slow with a small picking of smaller Pollock and codling as the tide increased so did the fishing.
Overall the lads had a good amount of Pollock and mackerel to keep with plenty of sport with Ballen wrasse and dogfish throughout the day.
We did see a few codling, heaviest fish was a 7lb 12oz pollock
The 3 hour trip fished from the start with a good sign of mackerel showing in the late afternoon and some nice size Pollock also showing.
Tonight we had a very picturesque ride home with the sun setting behind the grand hotel and gannets and herring gulls diving behind the boat as we threw all the left over bait and guts over
