We headed to the inshore wrecks and it was very slow starting after a few wrecks we found a few with some life on the but fishing wasnt right even though the drifts were nice and slow wind against tide. When the tide changed we managed to get a few better cod and very strappy ling unfortunatly non were keepers. We did manage to get a 5lb pollock off the wrecks and several big wrasse.
After 4 hours the wind and tide together just got too much with very fast drifts upto 2.5 knots so we decided to head inshore and did some downtiding at anchor which was very productive. We managed to get a good selection of codling around 2 to 4lb and several pesky dogfish
Unfortunalty the month of easlty winds and a fresh south easterly wind today just dint help with fishing
